From July 13 through July 17, 2020, the American Energy Society, with co-host University of Illinois, Chicago, held a conference: "Sustainable Energy Infrastructure and the Gigaton Challenge." Access a summary of the proceedings » Background: “In This Together,” a virtual conference, covered a variety of topics related to energy and the environment. All participants had opportunities to personally engage with thought-leaders in solutions-oriented dialogue; an exclusive group of selected students used the tools of GoogleMaps and LinkedIn to build communities of purpose. |
